June 15, 2021

Friedman Kaplan is pleased to announce that the firm has been recognized in the 2021 edition of The Legal 500 United States in its Corporate Investigations and White Collar Criminal Defense: Advice to Individuals category. In its commentary, The Legal 500 notes the firm’s “solid body of white-collar work and investigations both for companies and individuals.” The directory quotes sources who commented that “the team amazed me with their devotion to dealing with the case and their diligence in preparing it” and praised the firm’s “amazing litigation lawyers.”

Further, partner Mary Mulligan is commended for her broad experience and “unique insight into white collar issues,” noting her previous experience as a former federal prosecutor, in-house counsel, and law lecturer. Partner Eric Corngold is described as being “well-versed in financial crime” with “particular experience in antitrust matters.” Partners Mala Ahuja Harker and Ricardo Solano are also listed as key lawyers in the firm’s white collar practice.

“We are thrilled that our white collar team’s steadfast and excellent work on behalf of our clients has been recognized by The Legal 500. For our practice to be recognized on a national level is an honor and a testament to the dedication and skill of our attorneys and the support of the clients who entrust us with their investigations and white collar defense representations,” said Ms. Harker, who is also a member of the firm’s Management Committee.

The Legal 500 analyzes the capabilities of law firms around the world through a comprehensive research process based on a number of criteria, including feedback from clients, interviews, firm submissions, and a team of experienced researchers.
