Blair Albom Promoted to Counsel

Friedman Kaplan is proud to announce the promotion of litigator Blair Albom to counsel. “Blair has been an invaluable contributor to our firm for many years, both by virtue of her exceptional work on behalf of our clients and because of her deep dedication to the firm’s culture. She is a talented lawyer and wonderful colleague, and we are thrilled to recognize her with this well-deserved promotion,” said Management Committee member Jeffrey Wang.

Blair’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She represents banks, major public and private companies, and individuals in connection with contract, creditor, insurance, and other disputes. Blair also represents individual and corporate clients in connection with white collar matters and internal investigations, including with respect to allegations of healthcare fraud, insider trading and other securities law violations, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, and tax evasion, among others. She is actively involved with the Federal Bar Council and the UJA-Federation of New York.

Before joining the firm in 2018, Blair practiced at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP and was a law clerk for the Honorable Kimba M. Wood of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She is a graduate of Stanford Law School and received her undergraduate degree magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Brown University.
