Lance Gotko, head of Friedman Kaplan’s employment practice, will speak on a panel at Centerforce’s Employment Law and HR Summit. The panel, which is titled, “Discrimination, Harassment & Retaliation in a High-Enforcement Jurisdiction,” will examine key differences between federal standards and expanded protections under the New York State Human Rights Law and the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, how to mitigate retaliation-in-employment litigation, investigation protocols that withstand agency review and litigation challenges, managing discrimination and harassment claims involving hybrid and multi-state workforces, and lessons from recent enforcement trends and litigation outcomes in the Tri-State region.
