Jared Lenow was a panelist for a Practising Law Institute (PLI) seminar on the GENIUS Act, the first major federal cryptocurrency legislation enacted into law. The seminar, titled “The GENIUS Act and Stablecoins – A Look Ahead,” discusses the key provisions of the GENIUS Act, including the new regulatory and supervisory framework the Act establishes for stablecoins; the impact of the Act’s compliance requirements relating to money laundering and economic sanctions; potential future enforcement efforts against stablecoin issuers; and the expected effects of the GENIUS Act on the global digital assets landscape.

The panel was chaired by Christopher Lalan of 1Money Co. The other members of the panel were Meagan E. Griffin of Paul Hastings and David Stier of DLA Piper.
