Litigators Anil Vassanji and Kaelyn Gustafson spoke on a panel during the annual meeting of the New York State Bar Association’s Women in Law Section on January 16. The panel, titled, “The Developing Regulatory Landscape in the Gen AI World’ explored the current regulatory landscape governing AI, examined the strategies used by governmental, quasi-governmental, and private entities to establish appropriate parameters, and discussed governance and best practices. As program co-chair, Kaelyn was a moderator for this panel, and Anil was a speaker. The panel also included Audrey Paquet, Counsel at Paul, Weiss; Jennifer Diana, Counsel at Eversheds Sutherland LLP; and Diana Santos, Senior Counsel, IBM Consulting, Global Generative AI Lead at IBM.
