On December 14, Friedman Kaplan partner Ricardo Solano Jr. spoke on a panel entitled "Health Care & RICO:  Risks Facing Providers, Manufacturers & Payors" at a webinar hosted by the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law, Competition Torts. 

Mr. Solano's co-panelists included John Partridge of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, James Ferrelli of Duane Morris, and Matthew John Reynolds of McGuireWoods. Mr. Solano and his co-panelists, all experienced health care litigators, discussed the growing use of federal and state civil RICO claims in litigation involving physician practices, hospitals, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and health insurance providers.
