Mulligan Speaks at "White Collar Practice" Conference

November 14-15, 2013

Friedman Kaplan partner Mary E. Mulligan spoke at the two-day "White Collar Practice" conference hosted by the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Ms. Mulligan discussed contemporary white collar criminal defense strategies during a panel presentation called "The 'New' SEC Enforcement Priorities and Defense Strategies for 2013." The director of the SEC's Philadelphia field office, Daniel M. Hawke, presented a perspective from an SEC attorney, and the panel was moderated by Thomas H. Lee II of Dechert LLP.

Other panels during the conference covered recent criminal law trends, strategies for successful representations, and ethical considerations for white collar lawyers. Speakers included prosecutors, public defenders, and members of the private defense bar.

The conference was held on November 14-15, 2013, at the Ritz-Carlton in Philadelphia.
