Adelman Speaks on Wireless Industry M&A at LSI Conference

Friedman Kaplan corporate partner Barry A. Adelman spoke at the two-day "Wireless Communications and Advanced Services" conference hosted by Law Seminars International. Mr. Adelman discussed recent M&A activity in the wireless telecommunications industry and how it has fared with regulators during a panel presentation called "M&A and Industry Structure: Where are the Established Players Heading." Broady R. Hodder, the General Counsel of Clearwire Corporation, was also on the panel, and spoke about the impact of regulatory policy on future opportunities in the industry and the business structures for taking advantage of them.

Other panels during the conference covered the future growth drivers of the wireless industry, spectrum reassignments and auctions, local land use and approval issues, and privacy and data security.

The conference was held on October 28-29, 2013, at the John Davis Conference Center in Seattle, Washington.
