Solano Speaks at 2021 HNBA Corporate Counsel Conference

Partner Ricardo Solano will speak on a virtual plenary panel as part of the 2021 Hispanic National Bar Association Corporate Counsel Conference. The panel, "Antitrust Scrutiny Under Biden: Setting Expectations” will feature a prospective dialogue on antitrust laws and prosecution under the Biden administration, including what to expect from the DOJ and the Antitrust Division of the FCC regarding scrutiny and merger/non-merger enforcement and penalties for non-compliance. The panel will also discuss prospective legislative reform under the 117th Congress, President Biden’s nominations for leadership positions at the Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission, the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, and the expected effects on digital and traditional markets, class action litigation, and whether the recent spike in merger challenges will continue over the next four years.
