On July 8, FK partner Scott Berman will speak at the Continuing Legal Education Institute's seminar Winning Cases in Federal Court. The event, which is co-sponsored by NYCLA’s Federal Courts Committee and Chaired by Joel M. Silverstein of Stern & Kilcullen, LLC, the Honorable Pamela K. Chen of the Eastern District of New York, and the Hon. Lois Bloom, Magistrate Judge, of the Eastern District of New York, will cover everything attorneys need to know to practice in federal court.

Over the course of two evenings, July 8th and July 15th, a panel of expert litigators will explore the latest issues involved in federal court practice, along with commentary by Judge Chen, who will provide her insights into the issues being discussed with a "View from the Bench" after each topic is introduced and discussed. 
  
The first evening of the program concentrates on “the Trial,” while the second evening of the program concentrates on “Discovery, Depositions and Experts.”
