Berman Speaks on Overlooked Issues in Alternative-Investment Due Diligence

Friedman Kaplan litigation partner Scott Berman took part in a Round Table hosted by The Alliance of Alternative Asset Professionals (TAAAPs) titled "Overlooked Issues in Due Diligence." The discussion was facilitated by Branko Belusic, Executive Board Member, TAAPs, and the other panelists were Peter Murrugarra, Head of Manager Due Diligence at ClearVest, LLC and Jay Tubianosa, Chief Risk Officer at Clearbrook Global Advisors, LLC. The panelists discussed the due-diligence experiences of investors and advisors and the best ways to get the full picture before committing to a new investment.
