March 11, 2018

On May 11, Friedman Kaplan partner Ricardo Solano, Jr. was honored by Seton Hall Law School with its Exemplary Service Award.  The award recognizes alumni who have been especially involved with and supportive of Seton Hall Law following their graduation.

In the 20 years since Mr. Solano graduated, he has taught as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall Law, judged moot court competitions, and spoken on a wide variety of topics. “When the Law School needs him, Ricardo is always there, and always with a smile on his face,” said Kathleen M. Boozang, Dean of the Law School.

“I treasure Seton Hall Law. The school formed my attitudes towards the law; I am proud to be an alum,” said Mr. Solano. “It is truly humbling to be recognized for work I love to do.”

The award was presented at the Law School's annual Alumni Gala, which was held on May 11th at the Legacy Castle in Pompton Plains, NJ.
