On April 8, partner Ricardo Solano, Jr. participated in a panel discussion on criminal justice reform in the Corzine administration at the Jon Corzine Archive Roundtable, held at the Eagleton Institute of Politics at Rutgers University.

The panel was lead by Friedman Kaplan client Anne Milgram, former New Jersey Attorney General and the former vice president of criminal justice policy at the Arnold Foundation, and addressed, amongst other topics: abolishment of the death penalty; racial profiling; juvenile justice (including juvenile detention alternatives and reducing the number of children in custody by half); the Camden Safety Initiative; the Department of Corrections; school zone laws; violent crime reduction; and the Office of Re-entry.
