Diana A. Arsanjani Reisman
Diana A. A. Reisman joined Friedman Kaplan in November 2025. Her practice primarily consists of complex commercial litigation and international arbitration matters.
Prior to joining Friedman Kaplan, Diana clerked for the Honorable José A. Cabranes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the Honorable Colleen McMahon of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before her clerkships, she was an associate in the International Arbitration Group at King & Spalding LLP in New York, where she represented corporations and investors in proceedings administered by the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), and the International Institute for Conflict Prevention & Resolution (CPR).
Diana publishes on topics relating to international arbitration and public international law. Her scholarship has appeared in journals and edited volumes, including The Research Handbook on International Claims Commissions (Elgar Publishing), Arbitration International, The American University International Law Review, The Georgetown Law Journal, Climate Law, La Revue de droit international d’Assas, and Les Champs de Mars.
Diana has studied and worked in French. She previously lived in Paris for four years, during which she earned a M.A. from the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po and worked with IRSEM, a strategic research institute in the French Ministry of Defense.
Outside the Office
Diana is a John C. Whitehead Fellow at the Foreign Policy Association.
