Bria Delaney represents clients in a range of industries in complex commercial litigation disputes, including those involving breach of contract and securities issues, as well as in white collar defense and internal investigations. 

Prior to joining Friedman Kaplan, Bria was a litigation associate at Selendy & Gay PLLC, where she focused on commercial disputes, including fraud and contract matters. Prior to that, she was a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. 

Representative Matters

  • Representation of a leading gaming company in a cross-border breach of contract dispute, including through an eleven-day arbitration hearing that resulted in a multimillion-dollar partial award to our client.
  • Advised derivatives counterparties regarding rights, remedies, and potential litigation claims arising out of events in the Texas electricity market in connection with Winter Storm Uri in February 2021.
  • Representation of a major media company in connection with an internal investigation related to potential violations of company policy.

Outside the Office

Bria is a member of The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and was a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s 2022 class of Pathfinders.
