Angie Garcia joined Friedman Kaplan in February 2023 to focus on complex commercial litigation and white collar criminal defense.
Prior to joining Friedman Kaplan, Angie was a litigation associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and served as a law clerk for the Honorable Victor A. Bolden of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.

- Representation of a leading gaming company in a cross-border breach of contract dispute, including through an eleven-day arbitration hearing that resulted in a multimillion-dollar partial award to our client.
- Representation of a technology company in a dispute with a licensee regarding misappropriation of trade secrets under the Defend Trade Secrets Act.
- Representation of Atlas Data Privacy in litigation seeking to enforce Daniel’s Law, a New Jersey data privacy statute, against various data brokers.
- Representation of legal scholars and law professors as amici in federal and state lawsuits to advance an interpretation of federal law that preserves the authority of states to enact and enforce laws that impose liability on gun industry participants for the sale and marketing of firearms.
