Zahreen Ghaznavi joined Friedman Kaplan in January of 2018 to focus on complex commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining Friedman Kaplan, Ms. Ghaznavi was a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
Outside the Office
Ms. Ghaznavi is a member of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Health Incentives Lab, a non-profit organization that harnesses principles of behavioral economics, education, policy, and medicine to improve children's health, and is also a member of the Young Professionals Board at Educators 4 Excellence, a teacher-led organization that ensures teachers have a leading voice in the policies that impact their students and profession. She is also an active member of professional organizations that advocate for gender equity and women’s rights within the workplace, including the National Association of Women Lawyers and the Legal Network for Gender Equity, which connects those who have experienced sexual misconduct in the workplace with attorneys and public relations professionals who can help them.
