Joshua Tannen joined Friedman Kaplan in May 2021 to focus on complex commercial litigation and white collar matters.
Prior to joining Friedman Kaplan, Mr. Tannen was an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, where he represented individual and corporate clients in securities, antitrust, and contract litigation in state and federal courts and before state and federal regulators in investigations and criminal proceedings related to anti-money laundering statutes and the FCPA. Mr. Tannen focused on cases involving complex financial products and transactions.
Outside the Office
Mr. Tannen is a member of the Federal Bar Council American Inn of Court and of the Federal Bar Council First Decade Committee. The Federal Bar Council is an organization dedicated to promoting excellence in federal practice and fellowship among the bench and bar in the Second Circuit. He is also an affiliate member of the Federal Courts Committee of the New York City Bar Association.
