FKSA partner Scott M. Berman has been selected by the New York County Lawyers' Association Committee on the Federal Courts to receive the 2011 David Y. Hinshaw Award. The award is given annually to recognize persons who have made significant contributions to the Federal Courts Committee, which focuses on the legislation, procedure, and business of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit as well as the Federal courthouse facilities. Mr. Berman has been a member of the Committee for 26 years and served as its chair from 1996 to 1999.

Mr. Berman will receive the Hinshaw Award at an event on June 20, 2011 at Battery Gardens, which is located across from 17 State Street, inside Battery Park, in New York City. The event starts at 6 p.m.
