Gerald Adler to Speak at PLI's "Understanding the Securities Laws 2010" FKSA partner Gerald Adler will speak at the Practising Law Institute's seminar titled "Understanding the Securities Laws 2010." The two-day program will provide an overview and discussion of the interplay among the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and related SEC regulations, emphasizing both the substance of these acts and their rules, and how securities lawyers can solve practical problems. Mr. Adler will be a presenter in the session titled "Alternatives to Traditional Public Offerings," which will address, among other things, PIPEs, spin-offs, reverse mergers, registered direct offerings, and Rule 144A offerings. "Understanding the Securities Laws 2010" will be held on October 25-26 and December 6-7, 2010 at the PLI New York Center, 810 Seventh Avenue in New York City. Both programs offer CLE credit and also will be available by live webcast. PLI is a non-profit continuing legal education organization chartered by the Regents of the University of the State of New York, founded in 1933. |
