Weintraub Named Co-Chair of ABI Business Reorganization Committee

FKSA partner William P. Weintraub has been appointed to a two-year term as Co-Chair of the Business Reorganization Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute. As Co-Chair, Mr. Weintraub will develop educational programs for the ABI Spring and Winter Meetings, conduct committee meetings, and identify and staff special ABI projects and initiatives. Mr. Weintraub's Co-Chair is Tinamarie Feil of BMC Group.

The ABI is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. It was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The ABI's membership includes more than 12,000 attorneys, judges, lenders, professors, and other bankruptcy professionals, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. The Business Reorganization Committee studies, analyzes and makes reports and recommendations on the operations of business reorganization cases. It is the largest standing committee in the ABI with over 4,000 members.
