On December 10, 2009, FKSA partner Scott M. Berman will speak at the Accounting, Auditing & Risk-Control Standards for Hedge Funds conference sponsored by Financial Research Associates and the Hedge Fund Business Operations Association. The conference will examine key concepts relating to hedge fund financial reporting strategies and auditing and risk-control standards. Mr. Berman will participate in a discussion titled "Avoiding an Investor Lawsuit," which will provide guidance for hedge funds on performing proper due diligence on prospective investors and service providers, charging appropriate fees and other matters relating to reducing the likelihood of an investor dispute. The other speakers participating in this discussion are Harry Davis of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP and Anthony L. Paccione of Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.

The conference will be held at St. John's University Manhattan Conference Center at 101 Murray Street in New York City.
