Weintraub to Speak at ABI Annual Winter Leadership Conference

FKSA partner William P. Weintraub will participate in a panel discussion at the American Bankruptcy Institute's 21st Annual Winter Leadership Conference, taking place December 3-5 at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California. The program, titled "Circuit Splits: Will Recent Decisions on Several Key Issues Result in Forum-shopping?" will be held from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Friday, December 4. Other panelists are Jonathan P. Friedland of Levenfeld Pearlstein, LLC, William Harrington, of the Office of the U.S. Trustee, Ali M.M. Mojdehi of Baker & McKenzie LLP, and Suzzanne Uhland of O'Melveny & Myers LLP.

The ABI is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. It was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The ABI's membership includes more than 12,000 attorneys, judges, lenders, professors, and other bankruptcy professionals, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information. Mr. Weintraub serves as the education director of the Business Reorganization Committee of the ABI.
