FKSA counsel Harvey Weissbard has been selected by the Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey to receive the Honorable Lawrence A. Whipple Memorial Award. The award is given annually by the ACDL-NJ to a member of the New Jersey bar who exemplifies professionalism, dedication to and passion for the law. Mr. Weissbard will receive the award at the ACDL-NJ Annual Installation of Officers Gala Reception on May 21, 2009 at the Pleasantdale Chateau in West Orange, New Jersey. The Honorable Barry T. Albin, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, will be the keynote speaker for the event.
