At the Madoff Litigation Conference in New York City on February 25, 2009, FKSA partner Scott M. Berman led a session titled "Investor Litigation," which focused on remedies available to defrauded investors and the challenges associated with such claims. The issues Mr. Berman covered included the types of investors who potentially have claims, potential defendants, and jurisdictional matters.

The conference was presented by HB Litigation Conferences (formerly Mealey's Conferences), and dealt with a variety of litigation issues relating to the alleged fraud by Bernard L. Madoff.
