On February 27, 2009, FKSA partner Bruce S. Kaplan will speak at the Practising Law Institute's Private Equity Acquisition Financing Summit 2009. The summit will examine key concepts relating to the financing needs of portfolio companies of private equity firms. Mr. Kaplan will participate in a panel titled "Litigation Lessons," which will address various aspects of disputes arising out of private equity financing transactions, including claims and remedies, jurisdictional and forum selection issues, fact development, settlement strategies, and contract interpretation issues. The other panelists are Michael P. Carroll of Davis Polk & Wardwell, and Angela L. Fontana of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

The summit will be held at PLI's New York Conference Center at 810 Seventh Avenue (between 52nd and 53rd Streets) in New York City.
