Gerald Adler to Co-Chair PLI Securities Law Seminars FKSA corporate partner Gerald Adler will co-chair the Practicing Law Institute's live seminars titled "Understanding the Securities Laws 2008." These programs will provide an up-to-the-minute understanding of the interplay of the basic underpinnings of the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and related SEC regulations, emphasizing both the substance of these acts and their rules, and how a securities lawyer can solve practical problems. Mr. Adler also will be a presenter in the session "Alternatives to Traditional Public Offerings," which will address PIPEs, spin-offs, SPACs, reverse mergers, and Rule 144A offerings. "Understanding the Securities Laws 2008" will be held on September 4-5 and December 8-9, 2008. The seminars offer CLE credit and will be held live at the PLI New York Center, 810 Seventh Avenue in New York City and groupcast over the internet in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Boston. PLI is a non-profit continuing legal education organization chartered by the Regents of the University of the State of New York, founded in 1933. |
