FKSA partner William P. Weintraub has been appointed to a two-year term as education director of the Business Reorganization Committee of the American Bankruptcy Institute. Mr. Weintraub will help coordinate and administer education programs at ABI's semi-annual meetings, and work on other bankruptcy-related educational projects.

The ABI is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education on matters related to insolvency. It was founded in 1982 to provide Congress and the public with unbiased analysis of bankruptcy issues. The ABI's membership includes more than 11,500 attorneys, judges, lenders, professors, and other bankruptcy professionals, providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and information.
