On May 21, 2008, FKSA partner Scott M. Berman will speak at the 5th Hedge Fund Accounting and Administration Forum, on a panel titled "How to Avoid Being a Target of an Investor or Receiver Lawsuit." The panel will discuss how hedge fund service providers can make sure they provide contractually required services for hedge fund clients, and understand their roles and their hedge fund clients' businesses. The other member of the panel is Eric R. Roper, a partner with Gersten Savage LLP.

The forum is part of the Hedge Fund Tax, Accounting, and Administration Master Class, which also includes the 10th Effective Hedge Fund Tax Practices conference. The Master Class is organized by Financial Research Associates LLC and the Hedge Funds Business Operations Association. The Master Class will take place May 19-21, 2008, at the Helmsley Hotel in New York City.
