Five Associates Join Firm

Kevin S. Haeberle joined FKSA's Litigation Group from Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. Kevin graduated from Georgetown University in 1999. He received his law degree in 2005 from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. After law school, he served as law clerk to Chief Justice Aharon Barak of the Supreme Court of Israel.

Robert S. Landy joined FKSA's Litigation Group from Sullivan & Cromwell LLP. Robert graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1998. In 2004, he graduated magna cum laude from New York University School of Law, where he was elected to the Order of the Coif and served as a Staff Editor of the Journal of International Law & Politics. Mr. Landy served in Uzgen, Kyrgyzstan as a volunteer in the United States Peace Corps .

Rickie M. Sonpal joined FKSA's Corporate Group after serving as a law clerk to The Honorable Peter K. Leisure of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Rickie graduated cum laude from Columbia University in 1997. In 2001, he received an M. Phil. with distinction in Anglo-Saxon, Norse, and Celtic languages from the University of Cambridge, where he was a resident of Churchill College. In 2004, he graduated cum laude from Fordham University School of Law, where he received the Dean John D. Feerick Student Writing Award and the Henrietta Metcalf Contract Prize. Mr. Sonpal served as a Notes & Articles Editor of the Fordham Law Review and is the author of Note, Old Dictionaries and New Textualists, 71 Fordham L. Rev. 2177 (2003). After law school, he joined Shearman & Sterling LLP as an associate in the finance group .

Jason C. Rubinstein joined FKSA's Litigation Group from Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. Jason graduated summa cum laude from Dartmouth College in 2000 with a degree in Government. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and also was named a Rufus Choate Scholar, a distinction awarded to the top 5% of the class. In 2003, Mr. Rubinstein received his J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. After law school, Mr. Rubinstein served as a law clerk to The Honorable Albert M. Rosenblatt of the New York Court of Appeals from 2003 to 2005.

Jennifer H. Chin joined FKSA's Litigation Group after serving as a law clerk to The Honorable Julio M. Fuentes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Jennifer graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan in 1994 and received an A.M. in American History from Stanford University in 1998. She received her J.D. in 2003 from Columbia Law School, where she was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. After law school, Ms. Chin practiced at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP before serving as a law clerk to The Honorable William G. Bassler of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Ms. Chin then returned to Simpson Thacher, where she practiced before serving as a law clerk
