On October 26, 2006, FKSA partner Scott M. Berman will participate in the opening general session at Securities Forum 2006, sponsored by the Connecticut Department of Banking, Securities and Business Investments and the Advisory Council to the Connecticut Department of Banking. The opening general session will be a "Hedge Fund Symposium" moderated by Harold B. Finn, III, Esq. of Finn Dixon & Herling LLP. Panelists will discuss hedge fund industry regulation, systemic risks, state and federal registration efforts and investor due diligence. In addition to Mr. Berman, the panelists include Ralph A. Lambiase, Director of the Securities Division of the Connecticut Banking Department; Paul N. Roth, Esq. of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP; Karl J. Wachter, Esq. of Amaranth Advisors and a representative of the Connecticut Hedge Fund Association.
