FKSA Associates Honored for Contributions to Legal Aid Society

The Legal Aid Society of New York honored Friedman Kaplan's associates for contributing more than $11,000 to Legal Aid's annual fund-raiser for its civil practice group. Overall, lawyers at more than 100 firms contributed to the total of $512,741 raised for Legal Aid by the 2001-2002 Associates' Campaign. Associates Lee D. Sossen, Emily A. Stubbs, and Moorari K. Shah, accompanied by partner Paul J. Fishman, represented FKSA at the Award Ceremony hosted by Simpson Thacher & Bartlett on September 26, 2002.

The contribution by FKSA's associates averaged more than $500 per associate and was the largest total dollar amount contributed from firms with 16-49 associates. FKSA's fund-raising campaign was led by Mishell B. Kneeland, who recently relocated to Austin, Texas.
