Amy Luria

Amy Luria graduated summa cum laude in 2002 from Barnard College, Columbia University where she received a B.A. in political science and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. In 2005, Ms. Luria received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she was Chair of the Moot Court Board and Senior Editor of the Journal of Constitutional Law. After law school, Ms. Luria served as a law clerk to The Honorable Jaynee LaVecchia of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. She previously practiced at Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Preston Gates Ellis LLP.

Ms. Luria has authored numerous articles, including most recently Showup Identifications: A Comprehensive Overview of the Problems with Such Identifications, and a Discussion of Necessary Changes, 86 Neb. L. Rev. (forthcoming 2008), and CERCLA Contribution: An Inquiry into What Constitutes an Administrative Settlement, 84 N.D. L. Rev. (forthcoming 2008). Her other publications include The Suitability of CERCLA Liability for Municipal Pollution of Rivers, 30 Seton Hall Legis. J. 57 (2005) and An Expense Out of Control: Rule 33 Interrogatories After the Advent of Initial Disclosures and Two Proposals for Change, 9 Chap. L. Rev. 29 (2005) (with John E. Clabby).
