Daniel B. Rapport's practice focuses on complex commercial, securities, and telecommunications litigation. His practice has included defending companies and their officers and directors in consumer and securities class action lawsuits, as well as prosecuting and defending fiduciary duty claims in a variety of contexts. Mr. Rapport's recent matters have included representing a major telecommunications company in a series of consumer fraud and antitrust class actions, a foreign bank against a variety of claims asserted by former customers, and the trustees of a litigation trust created pursuant to a bankruptcy plan to prosecute breach of fiduciary duty claims against the bankrupt's former directors, officers, and controlling shareholders. Mr. Rapport has also represented clients in investigations by federal and state prosecutors. In addition, he provides advice to institutional investors concerning pending litigation affecting the value of publicly traded securities.

Mr. Rapport graduated Phi Beta Kappa and cum laude from Harvard College in 1990 and from Yale Law School in 1995. After law school, he clerked for The Honorable Miriam Goldman Cedarbaum of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
