Jeffrey R. Wang
Jeffrey R. Wang's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation across a wide variety of industries, in New York state courts and various federal courts, as well as in arbitration tribunals and government investigations. His recent matters include representation of: a commercial developer in a series of insurance and contract disputes arising out of the destruction of property on September 11, 2001; the special servicer of a trust holding numerous commercial mortgage-backed securities in an action against the loan seller arising out of the sale of defective loans (including two successful appeals before the Appellate Division); a major interdealer brokerage in several employment matters; a major internet retailer in several intellectual property actions, including obtaining dismissal on summary judgment of federal Lanham Act and state trademark infringement claims; and a special servicer of commercial mortgage loans in connection with several federal and state actions. He has also represented pro bono clients in contract cases, immigration appeals, and housing court disputes.
Mr. Wang graduated with distinction in 1998 from Yale University and received his law degree cum laude in 2002 from New York University School of Law. After graduation from law school and prior to joining FKSA, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable Loretta A. Preska of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
