Reid Skibell
Reid Skibell represents clients in complex business litigation and regulatory investigations. His matters involve a variety of issues and claims, including common law and securities fraud, breach of contract, non-competition, and consumer protection. Mr. Skibell also has represented clients in investigations by the New York Attorney General, the SEC, FINRA, and the CBOE.
Mr. Skibell's recent matters include representation of:

the leading worldwide manufacturer of artificial turf field systems in a contractual dispute with a multinational fiber supplier;

a hedge fund in litigation concerning broken distressed debt trades; and

a interdealer broker in litigation and arbitration proceedings concerning the hiring of brokers.
Mr. Skibell graduated from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service in 1997 and received a master's degree in information systems from the London School of Economics in 2000. In 2004, he received his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and received the Young B. Smith Prize and the Milbank Law & Economics Fellowship. Mr. Skibell previously practiced at Davis Polk & Wardwell.
